At Amal Academy, I have to select a social issue which will be helpful for my society. All fellows are so excited about their projects. All are thinking about a lot of different social causes and issues of our society after starting the discussion one by one they all are discussing their ideas and they all have excellent ideas for their projects on the different type of social issues.

I was thinking differently which I felt during my education. In our education system, our students don’t know what to do and what subjects they should select which will be helpful in their future.
So, I decided to work on CAREER COUNSELING / CAREER PLANNING of the students of matric and intermediate.
Your career development is a lifelong process that, whether you know it or not, actually started when you were born! There are a number of factors that influence your career development, including your interests, abilities, values, personality, background, and circumstances. Career Counseling is a process that will help you to know and understand yourself and the world of work in order to make career, educational, and life decisions.
Career development is more than just deciding on a major and what job you want to get when you graduate. It really is a lifelong process, meaning that throughout your life you will change, situations will change, and you will continually have to make career and life decisions. The goal of Career Counseling is to not only help you make the decisions you need to make now, but to give you the knowledge and skills you need to make future career and life decisions.
After matriculation examinations, students now are faced with the requirement of admission into different colleges and institutions to further their studies, they usually have the time span of two months to decide the field that they would opt for. What they choose for their intermediate education, will most likely define the field of their profession. Therefore, it is highly advised and urged to seek career counseling at this stage. So that they can evaluate and choose from the options, carefully. The majors they have to choose from are, Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, Commerce, Fine Arts, General Science, and Computer Science.
It is again highly recommended to seek career counseling for bachelor’s degree even before the intermediate examinations. A career counselor at this stage examines your academic performance and your financial status and presents the most suitable fields and different universities to choose. These are some different majors you can graduate with a bachelor’s degree from, Medical, Engineering, Business Management, Mass Communication, Arts & Humanities, Media Science, etc.
As we know that our education system is very unaware of this and neglects this reality. so, it is very hard to implement but there are some solutions which can be helpful which are listing below:
1. Knowledge of career counselling
2. Source of information and advice.
3. Future plans.
4. Satisfaction regarding chosen career.
5. Availability of career counsellors in our institutes.
6. The help of parents in choosing a career.
7. Seminars on career counselling.
8. Decision-making ability.
9. Prior Experience in interested filed
10. Reason for choosing that filed.
I will visit some schools and academies and I will also meet with some teachers for promoting career counselling in our education system. I have also started practice with my seniors of my field. We have visited different colleges of our cities.
I hope that I will get success in it. May Allah help me in this noble cause.
